Here’s a quartet that has emerged from the GNR/Velvet Revolver gene pool as tracks like “Johnny Get Your Gun” abound in sexed-up ’90s rock swagger. The band follow a time-tested template, with well-placed solos and a frontman, Rick Stitch, who can bring it. “Fingerprints” is their best shot at modern rock notoriety, but can this project draw fans younger than Axl’s aging disciples? In any case, a dose of hard/soft energy dynamics, and more sonic space in these tracks could work wonders to increase the music’s visceral impact.
